How Plumb Bob handles your data

Plumb Bob is a compliance tool, not an appraisal company.

We do not take appraisal orders, we do not sell data, and we do not run an AVM. Your report is your work product and it stays yours. This page is dated and versioned; changes are announced, never silent.

01Where it lives: Reports, photos and drafts are stored on our servers in the United States and are visible only to the account that created them. Other users cannot see your work.
02Training: We do not use your reports, photos or answers to train any model, and our AI provider does not train on data sent through its API. Your work is used for one thing: building and checking your report.
03Who reads it: Nobody, as a matter of course. Plumb's founder can open a specific report for support only, and does so only when you ask for help with it. Error monitoring records that something failed, never the contents of a report or a photo.
04Deletion: Email hello@plumbvaluation.com from your account address and every report, photo and draft in your account is deleted within seven days. A delete button in the app is on the roadmap.
05Third parties: The only services that process your data are our hosting provider and our AI provider, both under contracts that forbid other use. We never send your report to a data vendor, an AMC, a lender or a GSE; you download it and do that yourself.
06What we keep: Account details (name, licence number, email) and usage counts, so we can support you and see where the tool fails. Finished reports are kept until you delete them.
07Cost: Free while in beta, with no strings. Beta means free, not that you are the product. When that changes we will tell you first, in writing.
